Great review, i wasn't aware of this wheel. I'm looking to upgrade from a Fanatec CSL elite and was aiming for a Moza 5.5nm DD with a KS wheel. Cammus was off the books until now, because their first model it's just way too ugly. But a 12nm compact DD that can fit any cockpit with two sticks and a bunch of buttons? Dude, i'm in. What would you guys recommend?

8:10 I have no idea WHY you'd have the speed on the screen. I always have mine (the regular black and white V2.5 with leather grips) set to constantly show current gear and then what position I'm in when I lose or gain a position and what lap I'm on when I cross the start/finish line. I will say, the only thing this wheel is missing is a 4 or 6 inch LCD/LED SimHub-compatible screen like all the competitors have. Hell, even Thrustmaster has a wheel with a big screen.

I play on Xbox with a Logitech G920.. and I want to upgrade to a better steering wheel.. I'm in doubt between Moza R3 and Thrustmaster TS-XW.. which is the best choice?

So, my budget in my country allows for me to choose between a t248 and g923, i play beamng and freeroam in assetto corsa, i dont drive competitively and would like a wheel which is fun for driving around and when i drive hard in beamng or assetto corsa that would also feel realistic and if i want to, drift good aswell, so which one would be the better pick? Its also hot where i live and i’ve read that the t300 overheats and once read the t248 also overheating AND noise is no issue as no-one is close to me

So its 50 bucks for a light, a lighter pedal, and some different finish?

The chinese pc exclusive shifters are made of metal completely, have a 2kg resistance on shifts and works brilliantly. 7 speed with reverse at it's cheapest is 65 bucks. Not spending that money on a plastic thing that breaks if you do one slightly aggressive shift.

OC I want to start with Thrustmaster T248 (ps version) and later on get a Ferrari F1 sf1000 replica but I know that you cant change the wheel on the T248 should I buy a different starting wheel from thrustmaster that can be changed or buy the T248 buy another wheel base with the sf1000 can you give me some advice

damn with these logitech wheel updates one time no force feedback in some game other time the shifter doesn work its a gamble 😅

I don't know if it has just been released but SimFab has released a wheel mounting system where it has two metal beams on either side where as you can also buy the middle metal pole. Just saying that that's a new option out there now. Also love your vids.

Ik no one will see this but how do you keep the rev led static? Mine keep flickering when I play f124. All my LEDs match the color and rpm in fanalabs but they don’t stay static. can someone help me please. Thanks!

How much should I pay for a used tmx pro bundle?

The GT Neo is a significantly better product at this price point from the looks of it. Here is my experience with the KS. I have submitted three support tickets due to issues with my wheel. They didn't even respond to the third. Important to note though, I have a 20NM wheelbase, so if you have a weaker wheel base you may not see these issues as severely. - The QR comes loose over time, and you can't fix it yourself without voiding your warranty. - If you use the universal hub, the wire is cheap and will not hold a connection after a few months, requiring you to buy a new one (they are cheap thankfully) - The wheel will creak like mad over time, especially when doing endurance races - my upshift paddle is wiggly and doesn't always shift. I don't see screws to tighten it. While the wheel gets the job done (when it works), I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy at this price point. As I said, the GT Neo was built much smarter (easy access to the QR, better wired connection, sturdier material, 7 way funky switches... everything about it is better).

I have had both for x box and if you are on console , i would definitely go for the T248. Only time you need a pc is to update firmware . After that , you can do all your customisation on the wheel itself . Logiteh is more pc based for that. T248 is much smoother, much better ffb and much better pedals . Honest opinion 😊

How does this compare to the Logitech G920 with only 2.2nm (and the death chatter that Logitech gear wheels are famous for)? I want to upgrade my G920 but cannot afford the better wheels. I have had my eye on the R3 as it seems like it would be better than my G920 and is reachable with my budget.
